AfterElton's Top 100 Hottest Men

AfterElton released yesterday the results of their poll of topp 100 hottest men as chosen by GBQ men. Who tops the list?

Actually, no real surprises on the list, though I think I'm a little intrigued by NPH at the top. This year, though, After Elton added three new options to vote on. The winners in the category are:

Hottest Men Over 40: Brad Pitt
Hottest Out Gay Men: Neil Patrick Harris (actually, the top three on this
list are in the top 5 hottest)
Hottest Men of Color: Taye Diggs

Plenty of eye candy for you folks this morning. Each list is worth a glance over, with a few surprises (Barack Obama makes it onto one of the lists!), but mostly just pretty boys to drool over.

Brad Pitt on Gay Marriage

From a recent article in W Magazine (linked by a posting on PageOneQ)...

In addition to his passionate advocacy for affordable housing--his Make it Right Foundation in New Orleans is building homes for residents displaced by Hurrican Kartrina, and the program may expand to low-income neighborhoods nationwide--Pitt also contributed $100,000 last year to California's "No on Prop 8" campaign, which sough unsuccessfully to block a ballot proposition banning gay marriage. A de facto spokesman for the cause, he has said the he and Jolie will not wed until marriage rights are available to all.

"People who are against gay marriage do not understand the very freedoms that they themselves are enjoying," he argues. "What if someone said, 'Sorry, no Christianity here? No Judaism. Certainly no Mormons.' No one would stand for that, and I wouldn't allow anyone to say that either. I'd fight them in the same way."

POLITICS: Major Gay People Not Donating against Prop 8

INMagazine, from LA, has an interesting brief article on people that have yet to donate against Prop 8 (which would, again, illegalize gay marriage in California if passed). For those who aren't paying attention, it's set to fail (and, thus, allow gay marriage) polling 55-41. However, the money hasn't quite started to be used yet.
