To commemorate the day, and to honor the victims, friends, and families of the disease, there are two events going on. I recommend either one:
- 1) St. John's Unitarian Church (320 Resor Avenue) will be hosting a commemorative concert, led by MUSE, The Cincinnati Men's Chorus, and Voices of Freedom at 7:30p.m. (The MUSE webpage)
2) St. John's United Church of Christ (at 520 Fairfield Ave in Bellevue, KY) is holding a World AIDS Day prayer service today at 7:30pm, where a candle will be snuffed out and a bell chimed every 15 seconds to mark the passage of another person in the world from AIDS (someone dies of AIDS in the world every 15 seconds).
