Anyways, in the meantime, I've done two things:
- Tried to add Google Analytics. It doesn't seem to be working. I added the code into my "Edit HTML" section of the "Layout" button, but that doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?
- I will also be adding Google AdSense to my site. Though traffic has tanked this last week -- from an average of over 400 hits a day to around 200, I'm taking this as a temporary set back, as it happened before way back in September (I believe) similarly. I'm trying to figure out why it's gone down, but, if being sick has taught me anything, it's that I need to spend less time working while I'm in school. I'm hoping that I can add some blogger revenue and cut back some of my hours. Not sure if it will do anything, or if anything will come out of it, but it's worth a try, yea? Hope you don't think I'm selling out... Funny, they made me agree not to create ways that force you to click on ads. Interesting. I don't think it's against the rules for me to encourage you to click on ads in general, is it?
Thanks all for the last few days of illness and all the well-wishing that's been going on. I did sleep for 22 hours and feel marginally better, but still am all phlegmy and gross.

Before you get your hopes too far up, see this Newsweek article:

Yea, I am not expecting much, but I'm hoping its something. I won't whine if it's a couple bucks a month -- at least it's, you know, something, right?
Where did you put the Google Analytics code? Your template is different than mine, but I might be able to help.
If you click on the "Layout" tab, and then on "Edit HTML" I put it right before the < / body > code, which didn't work, then right after the < body > code which didn't work either.
I put the code in the template right between (!-- end outer-wrapper --) and the (/body) tag. It took a couple of days for it to start working. Is yours up and running yet?
