Don't Ask, Don't Tell - Kansas Style

Only in Kansas can you be ousted from the military for kissing in the Wal-Mart. Seriously, have some respect... at least get caught in the Target, or the Crate & Barrel, or... hrm... where do lesbians shop? Oh yea, the Home Depot. (That was a snarky joke, btw.)
The Kansas Army National Guard has discharged its first gay soldier under the federal “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

Amy Brian, who served nine years in the Guard, including a stint in Iraq, was investigated and “separated” last month after a civilian co-worker told authorities they had seen her kissing a woman in a Wal-Mart checkout line.
And this ends when? I think Ms. Brian needs to become the lightning rod. I think, under the current administration, the persecution of gays and lesbians in the military, at least, should have ended.

I think Ms. Brian needs to speak... and loudly. Demand the end.

NOW

Not that I would ever actually serve in the military, I just really like army boys
