Did you know that Alaska does not have a statewide LGBTQ rights organization? Interesting, especially in light of the fact that the legislature of that state is poised to take on non-discrimination next month:A proposed ordinance to ban discrimination against gays in hiring, housing and education will be considered by the Assembly next month, reviving an issue that has bitterly divided Anchorage before.*Ring ring* Governor Palin? Yea. Hi. Remember when you said you had gay friends? Remember? Now would be the time to support them... whoever they are.
