From Massachusetts Local News about the funeral of Carl Walker-Hoover who killed himself after being incessantly tormented and repeatedly called "gay:"

"The name calling must stop; the bullying must stop," said the Rev. Hugh A. Bair, to applause from the overflow crowd.

"We need to do better."

Is it too much irony for me to say Amen?

Via Joe.My.God. who points out that a large group of anti-gay supporters are pushing for a Day of Silence WalkOut because, you know, apparently taunting is not a problem in our schools and we are OK with teasing gay people literally to death.
