ELECTION 2008: By my calculations (part 2)

So my original post with numbers here were from the US Election Atlas website.

I just wasted 45 minutes of my life doing this fabulous spreadsheet of all the results... this is what I came up with:

RESULTS WITHOUT FLORIDA OR MICHIGAN:

Obama: 12,634,375 (49.32%)
Clinton: 11,990,219 (46.81%)
Other: 991,945 (3.87%)

Obama over Clinton: 644,156

RESULTS WITH FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN:

Obama: 13,203,416 (47.26%)
Clinton: 13,175,578 (47.16%)
Other: 1,556,646 (5.57%)

Obama over Clinton: 27,838

I don't know why this matters or why i did this, but oh well.
