Deaf schizophrenia

I once had a deaf schizophrenic patient.

She said that when she started hearing things, she knew it was time to call the professionals.

On average, she heard things three times a year.

We wouldn't see her for weeks after we called the psych emergency people. There was never the white coat, but I always wondered if that was appropriate.

There's no point to this story.

There is always a point to a story, you just have to look harder to find it in this post than in others.
