(More) Rob Portman

You know, you'd think I was in love this man. It seems I am going the way of my obsession with Ann Coulter. Again, it's to stop this man from becoming Senator from Ohio.

Yesterday, I asked for something dirty about Rep. Portman, who has announced his intention to run for the seat Sen. Voinovich will be vacating. Back2Stonewall.com answered the call. This is from his post:
In the past Portman has voted:

YES on Constitutional Amendment banning same-sex marriage.
YES on banning gay adoptions
YES on ending preferential treatment by race in college admissions
YES on making it a crime to harm a fetus during another crime.
YES on banning partial-birth abortion except to save mother’s life.
YES on forbidding human cloning for reproduction & medical research.
YES on funding for health providers who don’t provide abortion info.
YES on banning Family Planning funding in US aid abroad.
YES on federal crime to harm fetus while committing other crimes.
YES on barring transporting minors to get an abortion.
Rated 0% by NARAL, indicating a pro-life voting record.

THIS MAN IS A DANGER TO NOT ONLY THE GLBT COMMUNITY BUT ALSO TO ALL WHO CHERISH THEIR CIVIL RIGHTS AND IN NO WAY SHOULD BE SUPPORTED, VOTED FOR OR ENDORSED BY ANY VOTER WHO BELIEVES IN GLBT RIGHTS, WOMENS RIGHTS - THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE or AFRICAN AMERICAN RIGHTS.

Spread the word. WE NEED FOR OHIO TO MOVE IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION.

Portman is one scary dude.
Source (I think) is from OntheIssues.org, which is a fantastic website, if incomplete. He's also for the weird "3 strikes, you're out" crime law... which is laughable. Oh, and he was one of the architects of the (failed?) CAFTA...

...which seemed like such a good idea at the time, if NAFTA wasn't already in place and we saw what a miserable piece of legislation that was/is.
